 **This position regularly works four (4) 10-hour shifts - 4:30 pm to 3:00 am.  Currently we do not work Saturdays or Sundays.


This position will operate in our state-of-the-art Machine Shop and is responsible for assisting in the day to day operation of the production processes.  This position requires the ability to set-up and run all machines and perform manual tasks related to the machine shop. The CNC Machinist works closely with the Machine Shop management to see that the shop runs at top efficiency and deadlines are met.


Minimum 5 years of experience with all aspects of a machine shop, including CNC machining operations and programming

  • Must be experienced in small, extremely precise parts and assemblies
  • Must have full working knowledge of inspection and tolerance techniques
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must possess the visual acuity for working with small precision parts
  • Must possess the ability to setup and run CNC machines
  • Must have knowledge of outside processes including anodizing, heat treating and parts finishing
  • Must understand all aspects of thread fits and gaging
  • Multi-task machining experience would be considered a plus
  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to work with a positive attitude in a team atmosphere
  • Must be able to optimize programs and machines to run as efficiently as possible


  • Program, set-up and run CNC Machines
  • Assist in the coordinating of production needs with personnel and machines
  • Assist in the implementation of new production techniques to improve production levels and quality
  • Help monitor the overall quality of parts and assemblies produced in the shop
  • Assist in machine maintenance
  • Assist in the inspection and documentation of all parts going through the shop
  • Assist in facilitating outside processes including anodizing, heat treating and parts finishing
  • Assist in day-to-day production and safety training, as needed
