 Electrical Engineering Intern Overview: The selected candidate will support the engineering group by working on a variety of engineering related tasks while supporting development and product support projects.  Interns will a actively participate in projects related to systems, hardware, and firmware.  Projects may involve data collection and analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, building prototypes, testing, and sourcing components.

 Primary Responsibilities (others may be assigned):

  • Design, build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes
  • Write and debug firmware in C
  • Set up and run laboratory tests
  • Assist with ongoing projects: revision updateds, documentation, etc.
  • Keep maintained notebook of daily activities and design notes

 Minimum Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
  • Must have completed Junior level classes in their program
  • A basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components
  • A basic understanding of analog circuitry
  • Ability to perform electrical design calculations
  • Programming skills in C/C+
