Purpose:  

The Senior Account Manager – Lavonia, GA - creates, maintains and supports relationships with Nightforce Optics' dealers, OEMs and other partners in the US and Canada. Based in our Lavonia, GA office, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for hands-on account management, training, and sales support for Nightforce accounts primarily through phone and email contact with in-person visits required. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for profitable sales growth, while working effectively in conjunction with other Nightforce Optics employees, and serving as a leader for our inside sales team.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum five years' experience in a similar position, with excellent knowledge of dealer and big box retailer account management, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable higher education from an accredited institution, preferred
  • Experience working with sales metrics and utilizing CRM tools in order to effectively monitor sales activities
  • Must possess excellent oral, written, and presentation skills including the proficient use of MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Deep understanding and experience implementing effective sales skills, principles and methods
  • Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time
  • High energy level and resilient character, with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience in shooting and hunting sports, Sport Optics industry and long-range shooting/ballistics, highly preferred
  • Self-driven, positive self-starter who works well both individually and in a team environment 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Superior customer service mentality
  • High integrity in all business dealings, required

Job Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts
  • Manages day-to-day needs of accounts by phone, email and in person
  • Works with other team members to provide excellent sales support, and grow assigned accounts according to company direction and goals
  • Proactively assesses customer needs and determines best options to meet these needs
  • Grows sales and profitability in line with company goals
  • Provides leadership and insight to peers in Inside Sales group
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives as defined by company management
  • Conveys technical concepts related to the firearms and sport optics industry on the phone, through e-mail and in person
  • Is available and responsive to customers' real-time needs
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable higher education from an accredited institution, preferred
