Purpose:

This position is responsible for processing orders and receiving shipments on a daily basis. Includes performing final product inspections, packaging/shipping goods and utilizing our internal software application. This position also provides customer service, as needed, for order inquiries. We currently work 4-10 hour shifts per week. Dayshift is 6:00 am - 4:30 pm and second shift hours are 4:00 pm - 2:30 am.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Shipping/Receiving work experience, preferred
  • Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager would be considered a plus
  • Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with computer systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word and Excel, highly preferred
  • Must have strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write and comprehend written procedures, safety guidelines, etc.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds and use stairs frequently
  • Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours daily
  • Organizational skills are expected, along with a high attention to detail
  • Must be reliable, dependable and have high personal integrity
  • Must be able to work any shift

Core Accountabilities

  • Cleaning, final inspection, packaging and shipping merchandise
  • Customer service duties with tracking and delivery of merchandise
  • Entering all relevant information into computer program
  • Assisting with inventory counts
  • Coordinating with members on any aspects of merchandise pick up or deliveries
  • General cleaning and stocking duties in all areas of the department
  • Assist with unloading trucks/trailers as necessary
  • All other duties, as assigned
